Naples Reviews

Naples is an incredible town, with a pleasant mix of kitschy beachside quirk and high-life glamour. Further inland, Naples' streets are clean and lush with local flora. Naples' properties are sophisticated and stunning. Tourists are encouraged to visit our Gulfside beaches, with warm saltwater and crystal sands. Tin City, a collection of local stores and restaurants, provides great entertainment for a low price. If you are looking for higher-end entertainment, Fifth Avenue holds many high-end shopping experiences and restaurants, from Del Mar to the Vine Room.
However, Naples does come with a few downsides. Because of the surrounding entertainment options, Naples is a hub for middle-aged and elderly individuals. This makes finding suitable evening activities for young adults and teens difficult since many stores and locations close early in the evening and are geared toward an older audience. If you are above 50, you will have no problem fitting into Naples' tight-knight community!

What I like about Naples is the diversity of what the different neighborhoods offer, if you want glamor and high end stores you go downtown along 5th Ave. Go west a little and you have commercial businesses, the south end of 41 is quieter with Lely golf courses, bars, restaurants popular store chains like Walmart, Lowes, Fresh Market, Hobby lobby and Publics. Plenty of Healthcare options are availably throughout the city, two major hospitals and urgent care offices are scattered. Boating, docking areas and water sports and all available along the gentle waters of the gulf coast, free boat ramps are easy to navigate and park your trailers, (most are free).
What I would like to see is more middle income housing for us on a fixed income. Most new condos are built in gated communities which charge a hefty fee just for being part of the community and you still have your home mortgage and utilities to pay for. Winters are awesome here and quite busy when snowbirds return. We love it here!
