I've lived in Woodstock for almost 4 years now, whereas I used to live on the outside of Woodstock my whole life. I went to elementary school here and it was one of the best times of my life, where I had lots of friends who lived nearby me. Over the past 5 years, the overall mood of Woodstock has gone from bland to a popular neighborhood hang out. There's many shops and dozens of food choices. Everything is within a 5-10 minute walk and there's family's with children and pets always visiting the local farmer's market. I would definitely recommend this neighborhood for anyone thinking about moving to Portland or to a different neighborhood within the city!

The cost of housing is going up but there aren't a lot of abandoned properties. The best places to live are around Reed College and the worst is anywhere above SE 90th.
Love the food, love the grocery stores. Lets go get some soul food @ Delta. The bi mart went away. They opened a noodle shop. Go to the deli or the fresh fish shop.
