Woodcreek Oaks Reviews
There are a number of gyms around the city. I have only gone to one or two over the years, and not for a long time, but I can say that they are quite nice and large, if you are willing to pay for it. I try to do small workouts at home by myself when I find the motivation, but I don't really know much about how much other people exercise. I know that some people buy personal machines to use, and it is not uncommon to have a membership to some gym.
Weather here is generally nice, but it gets very hot during summer. Winters are quite mild, with some rain but never snow. Generally it is good to have clothes for hot and cold times, and a jacket for windy or especially cold days.
There are lots of places to go out to eat here. Some favorites of my family are Islands, Catrina's Cafe, and In-n-Out. We have never really gone to any bars so I don't know about that, but there are definitely plenty of good restaurants to go to and keep a decent variety.
I have been trying to get a job for this summer, and it is proving to be difficult. Part of that is being a college student who is available for a limited amount of time when I am home for the summer. My mom has been trying to get a job with the state, and is facing a lot of hurdles there as well. It is certainly possible to find work here, but it is not easy by any means.
There are tons of places you can go to to buy what you need. Most of them are bigger stores as a part of a chain. From home equipment to food to school supplies, there is somewhere to go for anything in Roseville. Failing that, you can always find what you need on Amazon and get it delivered within a few days.
Lots of variety and choices
Lots of different ethnicity around
Lots of malls, diners, and places to go out
Some parks, mostly suburban living. We do have wetland preserves
I am a student so I'm not sure
Not a lot of crime
Airport, train station, and bus stops nearby.
We have great police and fire stations and a lot of support from representatives regarding bettering education.
Natural disasters are not an issue and it doesn't snow here in winter. The only problem is that it gets very hot in summer.
Safety isn't an issue here. Crime rarely happens, and when it does, it is relatively petty, for example, vandalism.
There are no abandoned or vacant properties. The cost of housing is average but utilities can be expensive.
Congestion is not a problem and there are sidewalks and bike trails available everywhere. Accidents and reckless driving doesn't occur often, if at all.
National and state parks are not conveniently close, but all outdoor options are of high quality and there are many small parks around. Pollution is not a very prominent concern here.
Many of the younger population wants to move a away, but the older population seems content here. There is little diversity and people are friendly enough.
It isn't a bad place to live, but it can be dull and it probably won't change much in the future.
