The area in which i live in offers a vast of variety of stores. From privately owned to chain stores. At every end there is a gas station, grocery store, hardware store, auto shop, 7-11 and/or corner store. Most often they are all walking distance to every neighborhood.
it truly depends on the field in which your trying to work. There are a lot of fast food and grocery stores for employment, as well as the ship yard, military, three hospitals and many medical related jobs in which I fall under.
