- Neighborhood in Bellevue, WA
Rating 4.8 out of 5 5 reviews
Wilburton is the sweet spot in Bellevue, especially for families. Close-in to downtown and easy to get to the 405, 90, and 520 - and to light rail, from 2023. Excellent elementary school feeding into Chinook and Bellevue High. Hundreds of acres of parks, including the Botanical Gardens, Wilburton Hill, and Kelsey Creek Park. Yet still easier to buy or rent than neighborhoods west of the 405, which are fairly similar in character but much much more expensive.
I like the park! It has a really nice track and field that is good to run on! I am excited, however, for the new East Link to be stopping nearby because I feel it will bring more development to the area (I feel like the area is not developed enough).
Public services in the area are great and on point.
The crime and safety in my area is moderate. Nothing really happens around the community. The odds of something actually happening is really low but the farthest I've seen it is when a cop has come to take care of the situation.
