West University Reviews
As a resident of Tucson, there are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from! My personal favorites are hiking, rock climbing, and biking. My favorite place to hike is Mount Lemmon, slightly north of Tucson. Since Tucson is a very dry, desert climate, it's nice to hike up Mt. Lemmon and experience a different environment. Mt. Lemmon also offers skiing during the winter months since it gets quite cold up in the mountains. During the summer months, green trees and streams can be seen at Mt. Lemmon. Another of my favorite places to hike is Gates Pass, it is a closer and more convenient drive than Mt. Lemmon. Gates Pass has steeper hikes and nice outlooks of the valley. It is also known for stargazing at night since it's far enough away from the city.
Sometimes i feel like i am at risk being a young college student, i feel that there needs to be more police presence to divert people from committing crimes.
I love living here but i have a very hard time with the weather. I would definitely live here again, but i would rather be somewhere colder.
