Wenonah Reviews

I love living in Wenonah. I grew up in this neighborhood and then my husband and I bought our home here, just five blocks from where I grew up. It's a great places for families, just blocks from the lake, easy access to The Crosstown gets you anywhere in the metro in less than 25 minutes. I couldn't ask for much more.

First of all, being born here and having lived here my entire life, I can't say that my opinion of this area is very balanced. I have never lived anywhere else, but from what I've seen of this area, it tends to be fairly average when compared to many neighborhoods. The general atmosphere is friendly for the most part, and yet there seems to be a pervading sense of privacy that prevents a strong bond from forming between many neighbors. I believe that working to better the section 8 housing down the street would help to give this area a brighter future.
