Weinland Park Reviews
This is a relatively nice neighborhood to live in- if you are a student. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area and it is very close to OSU. However, because it is so close to campus there tends to be a lot of noise due to parties, which are particularly bad during football season. All the housing in this area is rentals, most of which are student rentals, which have very reasonable pricing. Towards the beginning of each school year there tends to be spikes in crime, but these are usually opportunistic crimes (robbing drunk college students who are out too late). Overall, I like living here but as soon as I graduate I plan to leave.
Columbus is a great place to live. There are many things to do for young adults, but I can't picture myself raising a family here.
Columbus tends to be a safe city overall even with bad neighborhoods.
