Washington Heights Reviews

1 review
There are pockets of The Heights that are great. There are pockets that aren't kept up very well at all. However, this urban neighborhood has a great neighborhood association and several perks going for it!

This is a great place for families! So many young families live here and take their kids out for walks. The Boulevard Bash every summer brings everyone together for a good, old-fashioned street festival. Plus, the nighttime trick-or-treating is some of the best in the city -- families must pre-register and the area of the neighborhood hosting it that year really goes ALL OUT for the decorations.

Some drawbacks: crime. There are several car break-ins throughout the year. Lock your doors! Several blocks have implemented block watches for drug deals that happen on several tucked away streets.
