It is very convienient to all modes of public transportation. I personally do not have children but I know there is an elementary school and a high school in walking distance. Very kid friendly. Walkable neighborhood, bike lanes are also highly accessible. Diverse neighborhood in every way. Plenty of restuarants, bars, corner stores, specialty stores nearby.

My girlfriend and I moved here after graduation and are now working in the city. It is a great location with easy access to center city! It is also close to parks and Dock street brewery!
I love the city I live in because this is what I am used to. I am very comfortable where I live, but of course, there could be some improvements. The potholes are terrible, sometimes traffic is really bad, and the sidewalks/streets are destroyed. Nowhere is going to be perfect, but the people are nice, there is always something to do, and I am in close proximity to popular locations.
