Van Nuys Reviews
Review Van Nuys
I really like how everything such as groceries, laundromats, hospitals are very close by some are even walking distance. Public transportation is abundant. There are many restaurants with a diversity of foods from mexican, Chinese, middle eastern etc. There are also many places where you can receive public assistance such as free after school care for children, W.I.C whic helps new mom's with formula assiatance.
In general, I love Van Nuys. The streets are quite and neighbors are friendly. I love how all of your basic amenities are nearby. My local park has birthday parties and barbeques being held most Saturdays when my son and I like to go there to spend some time at the playground. One concern that I have is that lately there's been an increase in homeless people populating the streets, I'd like to see better community intervention and help for those people.
Growing up in Van Nuys, a neighborhood of Los Ángeles granted with a rich, cultural experience. The diversity of the neighborhood helped me develop my awareness of the vast amount of cultures and the acceptance and welcoming of different people from different walks of life. Growing up in the environment enabled my ability to welcome different ideas other than my own.
