University Reviews

Walkable, bikable neighborhood with great people. Great local restaurants and bars without crossing a single major road. A supermarket (Safeway) you can walk or bike to without crossing a single major road. Denver University itself is a gorgeous campus. A good bit more affordable than Platt Park, yet a 5-10 minute bike ride (according to Google Maps) to Old Pearl Street.
Less than a 10 minute drive from the huge shopping district in Sheridan. Five miles from downtown. Convenient to I-25 (University Blvd. or Downing St.), Santa Fe (85) and Hampen Ave (285). Good public schools. Family-friendly, young-couple-friendly, and student-friendly all at once... somehow very quiet, yet still in the middle of lots to do just a short walk or bike ride away. Just a wonderful place to live.

I am aware of somewhat frequent bike thefts, however considering the proximity to a university, crime seems lower than I would expect.
It's a nice atmosphere, but the stress of quickly increasing rent and difficult to find housing makes moving to or within Denver stressful.
