Tierrasanta is a great family friendly community. There are several parks, places to eat, schools and daycares. The scenery is beautiful and much more green than many San Diego areas. I love that everything is close by; several options for grocery shopping, places to eat, and a library. I have lived here for two years and plan to stay many more! It is a bit pricey to buy in the area, but renting is affordable. The community is a like a family, and I love how close neighbors become and are always willing to help each other out!

One of the things I like about Tierrasanta is that everything is near by without having to go an extra 10 minute drive to the grocery store. Tierrasanta is a small town with friendly people. It also has a few populated spots where a lot people like to go fro exercise, such as "the vista grande stairs", mission trails, and the recreational center; instead of going to the gym Tierrasanta is technically it's own workout town.
I love that it is a quiet town with very friendly people, and a lot of great places to eat. The traffic is generally pretty light and the road conditions are always fair with little to no potholes. There are plenty of resources to find local town events as well as staying informed about your neighborhood.
