The Gulch Reviews
There is everything from Mexican to American to Japanese in this area. Cantina Laredo, Bar Louie, Whiskey kitchen and Virago are some of the trendy but not too expensive where you will see young hip professions. Drinks and food specials occur during lunch happy hr and late night
Safe, but close to some rough parts of town. Homeless population is high.
Currently in dental school at Meharry Medical College so I'm not too familiar with the job employment. They are building new apartments and business buildings so I would think that employment is increasing.
