Tampa Palms is conveniently located. Schools are great in the area and it’s a family oriented community. There are restaurants, retail stores, grocery stores and many other convenience businesses in very close proximity. I’m a resident for the past 20 years and making it my home for much longer.
Tampa Palms is a very nice place to live. It mostly has families living in it which makes it calm. The city workers also keep the area very clean. I feel very safe living in Tampa Palms. It also has a wide variety of store, grocery store, and restaurants to chose from.
Tampa Palms is a wonderful community to live in for singles, families, or even elderly. Anything you could need is within a five minute drive wether its groceries, gas stations, hardware stores, really anything you need. I definitely recommend this area for anyone.

Good place to live if you are young and just starting out. If you want to raise a family, you should move somewhere else.
great area to live in. necessary shops and restaurants nearby. usf and hospitals very close and easily accessable.
I enjoyed this part of Tampa, and think there are not any changes I would make. Close to all the things that are important to me.
Tampa Palms is a great place to move if you're unfamiliar with Tampa. My Father and I moved to Tampa from Michigan and had no idea where would be a good area to start. New Tampa offers some rural feel with easy access to the city, within 30 minutes drive of downtown. There are many restaurants to choose from, several higher education institutions (University of Tampa, University of South Florida, Hillsborough Community College, Argosy University), quite a few job opportunities, medical institutions within a few minutes. The location is close enough to Clearwater/St.Pete beaches and Orlando via Rt. 4. The only real downsides are that the traffic can be terrible, as expected, during rush hour times on 275, 75, and Bruce B Downs, and housing is pricier than the surrounding areas.
Tampa Palms is an excellent place to live and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The area has plenty of great food, entertainment, and nature, so there is plenty of fun for everyone.
I have only lived in Tampa Palms for a few months, but I feel so at home! I am near everything i could ever need - grocery stores, restaurants, parks, etc!
The area is developing and has a very low crime rate. Neighborhoods are well kept. Traffic is very heavy during certain hours of the day.
Overall it's great, really close to Busch Gardens, grocery stores, a couple bars, etc. Only real complaint I have is the traffic sometimes and they're working on making the roads 4 lane instead of 2 lane so that should fix that problem.
A very clean well-kept neighborhood. Safe and close to shopping, restaurants and freeways. There are many good schools to choose from and it is very family oriented.
Tampa palms is located in heart of Tampa, about 15 miles from downtown. very close to USF . Tampa palms offers great secluded gated communities, so in spite of being in heart of city , you have lot of privacy, peace, serenity. you get to experience nature all around you. many houses offer great backyards with water or conservation view. There are great side walks for runners, walkers, bicycle paths, several gyms, fitness centers for fitness enthusiasts. Family oriented atmosphere, good schools, recreational centers, movie theaters, shopping centers, malls, restaurants, etc. expansion of Bruce b Downs should help with traffic situation in the morning.
Beautiful, safe neighborhood that's close to lots of businesses and amenities, but doesn't feel too busy.
I love living in Tampa Palms. There are restaurants, stores and everything you need within reach. The neighbors are friendly, the parks are clean and the roads are being upgraded. What more could you ask for?
I have really enjoyed my time living in Tampa Palms. It was founded in the eighties, but it has remained updated. The only downside is that there has been construction throughout the area for the last two years. The school district is great, and it is also close to USF but not too close where you have to deal with the college life style.
Typical surban style locale. Plenty of activities and businesses in the area to satisfy all interests.
