A nice break from city life without being far away from amenities. There are a hundred ethnic grocery stores nearby. Midtown is a quick Lyft ride away. Parking is a breeze. The midcentury block homes are adorable. Nearby schools are great. My neighbors actually talk to each other. I came here when I couldn't afford fancier neighborhoods, but knowing what I know now, this would have been my first choice.
My family and I have been living in this neighborhood for almost 27 years. Growing up I had many memories here with my neighbors. I'd made a lot of friends here and I enjoy their presence. I would not mind living here because the neighborhood is quiet, friendly neighbors and our neighbors looks after one another. Just a few weeks ago my neighbor across the street from us was talking to me, his name is Charlie. Charlie and I were talking about the day my parents moved in. He watched us grew up and he remember us when we were little and he always asked him for help. I feel safe living here because we have so many neighbors that looks after one another. My neighbor Charlie, is a neighborhood watcher. For example, the other day my friend got inside my car and as we were leaving Charlie came to my car to make sure if everything was okay because he saw a stranger getting inside my car. I explained to him that he was my friend and that everything was fine. In the future I see this area remain the same because the atmosphere here is positive and I don't think anyone wants to change it.
The neighbors that I grew up with are still the same neighbors. The family pets are super friendly.
