I believe this community can be very self- centered and only worried about themselves. In multiple occasions things have happened in my house and the neighbors just watch and not try to include themselves to even offer helper to ask if everything is okay. I see supportive people in vehicles driving down the streets with their local team on the tail of the car or on the window, but I haven't seen support from my neighbors.
Growing up in Kansas City has been a blessing for me. When I was a child, Kansas City seemed so interesting but as I got older I began to see that there were better places with much better opportunities than Kansas City. For instances, Atlanta has more celebrities, more interesting attractions, and a great place to start a business. For the future of Kansas City, I see that it has potential to becoming one the best cities in the next 25 years while others similar to Kansas City may seek the goal faster.
There is a lot of crime, but it is easy to avoid crime areas. Police are present, particularly with traffic violations. Police are in the community and appropriate in their relationship with people.
