I love Summerlin, especially now that Downtown Summerin is open, with all of its restaurants and shops! The Library is vast and convenient, as are groceries, and all other amenities. The community is down to earth, despite its affluence.
Review Summerlin
I love Summerlin, it is a great neighborhood to live in. Summerlin was designed as a planned community which means certain areas are designated for different purposes. In doing this anything you would ever need is within a couple miles of you. Need a grocery store there are 4 within a mile, food and shopping there are hundreds, parks are everywhere, there are even grassy walking paths that wind throughout the community, the list goes on. Summerlin is always well maintained including landscaping and roads are kept practically pristine. All in all it is a great place to live.
The atmosphere is great. It is a good neighborhood, quiet, relatively close to most shopping centers. It's miles away from the strip, but close enough to drive to. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely choose to live in Summerlin. Las Vegas weather may be a bit dry and hot during the summer but it is only a 4 hour drive away from the beach. There's also a lot less traffic than California or bigger and busier states!
