Summerlin Reviews
Rating 3.99 out of 5 251 reviews
There are two schools of thought here in Summerlin. The more elite call this place is Slummerlin, and those who don’t live in Summerlin and don’t understand it’s unique culture, call it Snobberlin. This is an incorporated town by Howard Hughes, lots of weird rules and restrictions with HOA. Beautifully maintained from head to toe. Nice parks but nowhere in Las Vegas is very family friendly. No dog parks in Summerlin. Many golf courses. Beautiful homes, but high cost of housing. Nice location away from the inner city, growing rapidly, traffic is getting worse. Lots of jobs. Very limited childcare, expensive. Schools here in Nevada are some of the worst in the nation. There are some private schools here in Summerlin but honestly they don’t rank very well either. Probably everywhere but, the kids are doing a lot of drugs. Homeless people even here in Summerlin. Some people are wonderful and others are snobby. I don’t think I would like to live anywhere else if I stay in Las Vegas.
In Summerlin, Las Vegas, everything has been great. People walk their dogs, very peaceful, people are friendly, and there's a place called Down Town Summerlin where there are a lot of stores you could shop at and nice restaurants there too. I see so many people around there in the afternoon on weekends and weekdays. It's a really fun shopping town to look at. There's even a movie theatre there that has good movies. You can hang around with friends and family at Down Town Summerlin. Overall, my experience has been really good. One thing I would change is to add a local pool so that people could hang out and swim.
Summerlin is a beautiful master planned community located in Las Vegas, Nevada. We LOVE living here.
"Okay, come on into my review."
I am going to tell you all of the reasons why I enjoy Summerlin.
Starters-
Morning sunrises have always been so pretty here. The Mountains seem to have a golden glow that's breathtakingly beautiful to me.
Pros-
Great place to raise a family.
Private and public schools have heavy security presence to keep your little gems safe.
The parks are well maintained and spacious.
Lush green grass makes for a perfect place to cop a squat and just enjoy the calm.
Views of Red Rock are Amazzzzing!
Hiking, yeah it's awesome.
Downtown Summerlin-
Restaurants, shopping, and yes, the ball park, are just a few of the fun activities available.
Highly recommend. Enjoy. :)
