St. Elizabeth Reviews

1
My partner and I decided to put down roots in Saint Elizabeth several years ago and we don’t regret it for a second.

We love this neighborhood and the people who live here. We have an eclectic mix of working class families, bohemian types, and urban professionals. We look out for each other’s packages, share garden produce and backyard beers and ask about each other’s day on the walk home.

I also love that I have all the amenities I need within walking distance including 4 or 5 produce markets and butcher shops within a 10 min walk. Bart is at our doorstep which makes my commute relatively hassle free.

That said, the risk of property crime is real if you don’t have a gate at your property like we do or if you park your car on the street. Violent crime like muggings have also occurred on our block. Despite that, I do walk around everywhere and the neighborhood feels safer now than at any point in the last 7 years.
