Sparr Heights Reviews
Fantastic area, friendly people, lots of small businesses, great schools. The feeling of being out of the city while being extremely close to it. Walkable, with a "Mayberry" feel, it's a safe community of people who clearly have pride in where they live.
An excellent area that combines countless shopping/dining/entertainment options with a true suburban feel that is unusual in the L.A. area. Excellent schools, friendly neighborhood vibe, and a beautiful setting in the foothills make this a prime location within L.A. county.
Living in La Cresenta is really a blessing. I've visited many other neighborhoods and this one is the best. We have some very good schools in our school district and even our poorest is immensely greater than the schools my parents had living in East LA. The neighborhood we are located in is a good distance from many great attractions in California and is situated in a great little valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. We are far enough away from LA to have clean air, lack of traffic and crime, but close enough to visit the city and enjoy it.
