Des Moines is a pretty mediocre place to live. It's not very exciting and there aren't many interesting things to do. The restaurants here also cater to a very western fatty crowd. It's hard to find good quality ethnic restaurants. The only good thing about Des Moines is that it's cheap to live here and that it's very green here so it's nice for those who love nature.
okay place to live. there's a mixture of older and newer houses for rent, there's even apartment buildings.
lots of businesses, very busy area.
