South Baltimore Reviews
South Baltimore is a decent neighborhood with a lot of diversity, mostly Blacks whites and Hispanics It has improved somewhat with the revitalization of the region particularly Port Convington which is Owned by Kevin Plank the founder of Under Armor. Over the years many companies such as Trump Enterprises to Amazon have looked into the area. But eventually it was Bought by Kevin Plank who set up his "Saginaw Spirit" brewery in what used to be the location for Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. All in all I can say that South Baltimore is filled with much history and many various stories if you ask the citizens of either Cherry Hill, Federal Hill and Brooklyn its not difficult to hear a story or two about the history and backstory of the areas but overall South Baltimore is decent but filled with an interesting sense of history.
My experience living here has been nothing short of excellent. Friendly neighbors and local businesses engender a strong sense of community and closeness, while offering great nightlife and remarkable diversity. No where else I'd rather be.
Public transportation is good, convenient strip malls, shops and coffee shops. Housing pricing is pretty average, but competitive. Crime seems to be rising in nearby areas.
