Society Hill Reviews

2
Society Hill is close to/includes Washington Square Park, close to South Street and Broad street. There are fantastic restaurants, various gyms (including an outdoor pool at PSC Society Hill), Starbucks (various), Whole Foods, Acme, pharmacies and family-owned businesses to make a true neighborhood. Easy access to both Broad Street Line and Market-Frankford Line and several bus routes (40, 57, 48, 23, 33, 23, 4 and others).

I am a new resident of Philadelphia. Grew up in a quiet middle-class suburban town in New England and it's been a big change. The neighborhood I live in now is very lively and diverse, and has been a welcome change. It's very convenient to live here, because I can walk to everything I need such as the bus lines, bank, grocery stores, restaurants, nightlife, etc. It is a little more expensive than I personally budgeted for but the convenience and safely of the neighborhood make it worth while. So far so good!
