Sloan Lake Reviews
The Sloans Look area gives you the best of both worlds - you are close enough to downtown to enjoy all it has to offer, but far enough outside of it that you can escape the hustle and bustle.
It is like any other city, there is crime but you can always see many police cars
I love Denver, I wouldn't rather be anywhere else.
I think the employment in this area is okay, it could be better. I have seen some now hiring signs in windows mostly due to the holiday season. I believe this is helpful.
Food is amazing in this neighborhood! Some of the best restaurants in the city.
Watch out on street sweeping - and football game - days. They will ticket and tow you!
New housing is going up - modern (and in my opinion), ugly replacements for the old Victorian styles.
This area is close to the heart of the city but removed from its noise and congestion.
High population of folks from different countries around the world, mostly refugees. It helps balance out the white upper-middle class.
There are many shops at which people find decent jobs. Lots of construction work too.
In the last ten years this area has become gentrified. Therefore, many people who can afford it have a lifestyle of health.
Parking is often difficult to come by, but biking, walking, taking the bus and/or train will usually get you to where you want to go with no problem
Great places to walk and shop, in addition to mountain views. Awesome local breweries too!
