This neighborhood is close to everything. Seriously. Walk-able to bars, restaurants, movies, things to do. On the public bus line, which is how I get to work instead of parking in the city. Short drive to shopping centers and grocery. The neighborhood is newer and well-kept. It is also not right in the city center so you can still find parking and not feel overwhelmed when walking or driving. It has been a beautiful and amazing place to live!
Better sidewalks, more lights at night, noise restriction, and stop lights would make the neighborhood safer for everyone.
It's a bit hipster but there are tons of brewery's. There are 4 within walking distance of my apartment. A beer drinkers paradise. All of the apartments are old warehouses and factories that have been converted to lofts. It's pretty cool.
