River Forrest Reviews

The area I live in is a mixture between good and not so appealing. There are parts of Norfolk where I rather take a longer route than go through it. Places look run down sometimes and people don't always take care of how their property looks. However, there are areas in Norfolk, VA that makes me want to get out and walk the streets. Like places that has the trains and the stores and restaurants all on the same street without having to cross a lot of intersections. It kind of reminds one a less crowded upscale New York. However, the buildings have history in them. You can see the roughness and aging of the brick, but once you go inside, its a modern updated store. When in Norfolk, just like a lot of cities, one just has be watchful of what parts to go into, and yet, know what parts that are a must see!

In this area, some people do not want to be bothered with at all. They don't want you to ask them for directions if lost, or don't want to hear about what product or service you are trying to sell, especially at their homes. I always see "No siltation" sign on people's doors or at apartment complexes. However, some people do not mind helping one if they need help. There are friendly people who would help you if your car is broken down or if one needs a lift to the closest gas station. Diversity, in my opinion, is what makes us unique than the surrounding areas. We have so many people from all different ethnicities. I love how there are different so many different cultural restaurants in this area.
