I live in an area called the Peninsula in Long Beach California. We face the ocean. It is a quiet, residential beach community, with
single family and multifamily apartments. We have a historic boardwalk right outside our door. Many people walk their dogs, ride bikes, jog, stand up Paddle, kayak in our bay and ocean.I moved here 13 years ago from Austin, Texas. I lived back east in New England and Los Angeles, Ca. Log Beach is my favorite by far! This a a growing dynamic city that cares about its community. People here get involved with charities want to give back. Like most big cities we have our crime and gangs, but I feel that there is a collective push to help people here and make it a great quality of life.

We have had recent bike thefts and vandalism in our area. Police and residents have been very proactive in responding
and getting information out to residents.
