Pecan Park is a very convenient neighborhood with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Everybody keeps to themselves, but the moment something goes wrong, everybody unites as one. Baseball at Ingrando Park has become a love and passion for many residents to the point that it has become culture.

My grandmother bought this house in 1990, when I was just fice years old. I have lived here off and on since then. The people are friendly, and there isn't much crime considering we are centrally located.
This neighborhood is close to the airport and in the intersection of two major highways therefore there are several fastfood and chain options. As previously mentioned, the neighborhood is predominately Hispanic, specifically Mexican so there are several Mexican restaurants. This is a family area however so there is not a lot of nightlife/bar options. There is also a small Vietnamese contingency so there are a couple of Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants as well. My favorite is the Broadway Noodle Cafe.
