Patterson Park Reviews

Patterson Park is like a gated community without the gates. Its features and attractions make it one of Dayton's most attractive neighborhoods. The streets are quiet with well-maintained lawns and houses. A variety of house styles mingle together here successfully. People spend a lot of time outside, walking on the curving streets, or visiting neighbors. This is a dog-friendly neighborhood, with most canines quiet, calm, and well-behaved.

There are many small businesses such as bars, restaurants, a shopping center, hardware, pharmacies, banks, doctors and legal services., Public transit is close. Adjacent is a bike/walking trail that connects to over 340 miles of similar paved off-street trails, the largest network of paved bikeways in the United States. A small neighborhood park includes a 1/3 mile running track, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts playground equipment and a baseball field. Patterson park is closed in on three sides, so there is little thru traffic.

Patterson Park is a close to everything! 15 minutes tops, to get to almost everything. We have a great neighborhood and feel very safe. Around 20 years ago, police and firemen of Dayton were required to live in the Dayton area. This is the area that many of them chose to live. It is very comforting to know retired policemen live very close. Its a mixture of young and old. The houses are usually updated inside but you still have that old timey feel. Im very happy here!
