like any community Parkrose has its faults, and thats what one missing star symbolizes, but unlike other communities parkrose has a unique feel to it, a feel registered by only the people and mindsets that occupy Parkrose. One of the things my community is widely known for is its diversity, and it is also on the things I appreciate and hold dear, because it is because of this diversity was able to escape the racially criticism I received when I am outside Parkrose. As both a person color and a muslim I stick out like the elephant in the room, but I am forget that I am gray and have a trunk. I love my community because it takes a small part of everyone and everything so that it can become fitting or almost everyone. I believe that anyone can make a home in Parkrose, no matter their previously community.
A budding community. Not a lot of sidewalks, but mostly safe for kids riding bikes and playing with friends. Amazing teachers at the elementary school.
LOVE it here!!! We recently moved into a house for the first time since we have been in Oregon. We adore how beautiful it is here and now I'm pregnant and happy to raise my child here till the age of 2 or 3.
