Pacific Palisades Reviews
Beautiful neighborhood with excellent public schools! Though it is a bit isolated from other areas in Los Angeles, it's a very beautiful and friendly place.
The new development is a game changer. Palisades still doesn’t have a happening night life (there are almost no bars in the neighborhood), but it has great restaurants and movie theater.
Pacific Palisades is the escape from the busy LA. The homes are beautiful and have views of the mountains and ocean. Soon the new village will be opening and it will have a movie theater, stores, restaurants, and a market. The people are very nice and the neighborhood is family friendly.
It's an extremely nice town! The parks surrounding the area are amazing and the public schools are nice too! There is so much to do and so much town spirit.
The Pacific Palisades is a great community, but it is very expensive and very liberal. However it still manages to be prideful and hypocritical when it comes to homeless people.
Pacific Palisades is a wonderful place for a family. Most of the people at the Palisades are relatively nice, and it's a very tight-knit community. If you're into local businesses, the Palisades has plenty of them that you can go to for eating, shopping and more. While it can be on the pricey side, it's a nice place to go and settle down for a family. It isn't really a touristy area and there are some celebrities that live within the area rather than living in other well-known places.
The Palisades if a great place to live, perfect for families with many nice, expensive houses. It's a very tight-knit community, which is hard to find in LA. The Palisades does lack diversity though, and the amount of wealth here is amazing.
Safe town, very child-friendly. However not enough diversity and often rude residents. Some more public transportation options would be great. Unfortunately, the places to eat are either on the very expensive side or very cheap side - there is not much of a good middle to choose from.
The best neighborhood free from the gridlock traffic that plagues the rest of Los Angeles. Many families, lots of the rich & famous and high performing business/community leaders. Not many apartments and the entry level house is $1.5-$2.5 million. Although conservative in lifestyle, majority are rabid liberals. Strong community values with excellent participation at all age levels. Beaches are better than Santa Monica or Malibu, but there is no night life, town closes at 9pm sharp. Palisades Patrol is a professional, no nonsense security service that always seems to be aware of what is going on and is jonny on the spot at any incident. Oustanding hiking and mountain biking routes.
