Over-The-Rhine is such a diverse and culturally adept. It is right about downtown Cincinnati and south of Clifton where University of Cincinnati is. There is a thriving nightlife scene as well as plenty of upscale dining options. It is also houses the largest amount of intact Italianete-style architecture.
I have been in OTR for a long time as I completed my undergraduate degree at the AAC, and now live in the neighborhood. It has its risks as any urban neighborhood does, but its come a long way in the last five years in terms of safety and popularity.
It's evolving. Life is springing up on every corner. Great place to learn about diversity, culture, and history.
