Old West Austin Reviews
Great place for young renters. Definitely a pricey area but close to everything and in the center of downtown. The crime is somewhat low but with all the bars nearby there is some trouble. This area tends to have a more conservative view. It’s also very diverse for Austin but not good for families.
I love old west Austin because I have a LOT of childhood memories there. I can always picture myself with my grandparents at certain places of business.
Great location, just across from the firehouse. Can walk anywhere downtown without drinking and driving. Something to do everyday. Very active community.
