The neighborhood has a lot of stores and various food establishments both with walking and driving distance. The neighborhood however isn’t very safe, nor clean.
The neighborhood had changed a lot in the last 10 years but is still usually quiet and neighbors salute and are friendly but most of all are hard workers that focus in their own business. At our street we have a retired neighbor that keep everybody inform and is always the key chain for any needs.
For the past 11 years, I lived here, there only been 2 crimes. Both times the culprit got caught. Most of my neighbors have security cameras and will notify others of any unusual activity. At one point, there was a sighting of a suspicious car driving around and it spread around quickly, which helped the families with kids. Even when the car disappeared, people still kept an eye on other people's children. While the police don't have a concrete presence in the neighborhood, they do respond quickly. I even met one of the officers and he helped me with a project for my school.
