Everything points to this area getting better in an already good area to live. The housing is older, but little by little as homes are sold, people or investors are buying them up, fixing them up and selling at a higher price. Torrance is a beach adjacent city without the 1M price tag of homes to the west. Great schools, two excellent hospitals, a local and dedicated police department and a responsive city government. LAX and DTLA are just up the way and public transportation is good. I really feel grateful that a nice place like this exists to call home.

The sun is always shinning but the beach is near and keeps the area fresh! Neighbors are kind creating a friendly atmosphere. I would live here again because I enjoy going outdoors and checking out new places, which always seem to be around the area.
Torrance is overall a great place to live. The people are friendly, and the school district is excellent. There is very much diversity in this community. I would choose to live in this place if I could do it all over because I benefit from living here. The local governments are great and interactive with the citizens, and there are six library locations so you can go to one close to home.
