Resources is what Anaheim has the best of. For every perosn who wants to better their lives they could go to the community center at the heart of our city. If a person wants to make a difference in their community they could attend Project SAY meeting where students in high school gather to sign up for community service opportunities. Also, Project SAY allows students to become leaders of the city with community workshops. Furthermore, Anaheim offers free classes to underprivledge students or residents in the area. If a person wants to learn to dance we have a mexican style dance, Folkorico, and for others who are interested in learnig to sow on a sewing machine we got it. Every rescource to better our lives is offered in the community center. Every resident in Anaheim contributes to an exciting enviroment, we've had, safe, protests and excitng community events. Every Thursday we have the farmers market. Every December, the community gathers to watch the tree lighting on the beginnig of December. And in November, Project SAY hosts the Day of the Dead to celebrate our loved ones who have passed away. Anaheim is for people who want to feel part of a large community and at the same time better themselves.
Anaheim is a safe city to live in because the moment you call the police for any emergency they would be on it faster than a speeding bullet. One of our biggest saftey concerns is gangs around the city but officers know where the largest gangs are in the city and always monitor the area every hour and especially at night. However, some of our officers have been known to shoot an innocent lives and our Sherrif has always took action upon them either by having them off the force or giving them a leave of absence. The Anaheim Police Department is always on top of our saftey and are always driving around to make sure their is order and safety.
The housing here is expensive, but of course, that what happens when one lives in Southern California. Apartments and houses are expensive. I know that it's going to take some time to save up for a down payment for a house. Many places have numerous people living under one roof because of the price of housing. I feel that apartments are more popular because of the lower cost.
Quality of housing is good. Not too many vacant or abandoned properties exist. The best areas to live would probably be those close to Disneyland.
