I've been a resident of Northside since 1998. I value the diversity, the urban-rural mix, the walkability and the open mindedness of our residents. It's a great place to live!
I love the diversity. It is a walking neighborhood with small, non-chain stores and friendly people. Everyone is accepted - poor, middle class, LGBT population. Very open and accepting of LGBT residents. Community oriented; strong community council. Best 4th of July parade in Cincy! This place rocks!!
The best part of Northside is the culture and food. There are great bars and resturaunts. The area has seen a lot of changes via gentrification, and as such has become somewhat "safer" but there have also been a number of negative changes. Most previous residents have been priced out of living here.
