I love it. It’s central to grocery stores, schools, mall, gym outfits and shopping complex. My son goes to one of the best middle school here in Northridge. There are gas stations everywhere which allows us to compare prices especially now that gas is very expensive.
We go to Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch which is close by and my son was a registered basketball player there. He is also a member of the youth program held on Wednesday at 6:30pm after school. They teach them how to be role models and they get them involved in community service.
I would love to work in Northridge too. I went to California State University, Northridge and graduated with an MSHA in 2011. Sadly, I lost my father in August of that same year.
We love Northridge and hope to buy a home in the neighborhood some day.

For the most part, the neighborhood is very nice. The climate can be extreme though. When it gets warm it gets hot for us.
Northridge houses Calstate University Northridge and has plenty of cafes, restaurants, and small businesses but it isn't busy or bustling.
It's a city in the San Fernando Valley. Because it's in the valley, summer gets hot. But it's barely humid. In my experience, I would say I experienced only a few days, if not a couple of days, of humidity while living for 18 years. But it does get high in summer though -- I have seen temperatures measured by my vehicle going up as high as 110-ish? I would say the neighborhood is relatively quiet and peaceful. It has Costco, Target, Walmart, CVS, Ralphs and stores alike nearby.
very safe, friendly, and fun. I love meeting my friends at the local restaurants by CSUN. There are usually police patrolling areas so it feels safe.
It is such a great city! I am able to find all the necessary stores near me while also having some pleasure stores to be able to do my shopping as well! It feels like a safe city where I am able to walk and see all the beautiful trees and flowers! I am happy to be a resident in Northridge, CA.
Very friendly and welcoming community. Very clean compared to the surrounding cities. Pretty quiet at night.
Great area with lots of great and affordable dinning. Rent is reasonable in this area compared to other areas in la. I would also say this is a really safe area never felt threatened or scared. Lastly, you will probably need a car for commuting transportation is horrible.
Northridge is a nice neighborhood. You can find everything you need within the San Fernando Valley. There are grocery stores, clothing stores, parks, restaurants, drive-thrus, theaters, etc. within a fifteen driving distance. Those searching for a night life go into
Los Angeles. Northridge is better for families and is a quiet residential area. Don't go out alone by yourself at night. Safer if you are with others.

Personally, I love Northridge. It is a great place whether one resides there or is just visiting, it is safe and friendly.
I love how its slow pace from downtown los Angeles. Family-oriented and clean, less homeless in the valley. More homes instead of apartment buildings.
I feel safe for the most part and I think it’s a nice area. Unlike where we used to live, Arleta. CSUN is across the street and I enjoy taking my daughters for a stroll, through their campus.
Nice and peaceful area. A lot of schools nearly by and CSUN is in the area.
There's a shopping mall in the city and you can find almost any kind of store in the city too.

I love living in northridge becuase of all the diverse cultures and personalities that inhabit this area. I have been living here my whole life and have never wanted to move out of my home town, except for my college education. Thank you for your time, have a wonderful day.
I really enjoy the community, as I feel like I can trust and rely on my neighbors despite not knowing them. It really allows me to build a foundation of security within my house knowing that I am safe from crime and hostility in this area. Would really recommend!
