North Collinwood is a great, up and coming neighborhood!

Pros:
-Very diverse
-Lots of art and entertainment options
-Lots of good independent restaurants
-Easy freeway access, only 10 minutes from Downtown or University Circle
-Decent public transportation access (RTA red line train station isn't far, several bus lines)
-It's great living close to a public beach
-Metroparks are nearby
-Several grocery stores close by
-Good public rec center

Cons:
-Housing stock could be a little nicer
-Still has a ways to go before it's a really thriving neighborhood
-A fair number of absentee landlords
-Could use some more businesses on the commercial corridors

Just recently moved to North Collinwood l love it! My street is nice and quiet and when l walk my dog people actually speak and say hello!! The yards are taken care of and decorated for the Holiday! There are so many restaurants! It’s a place l can call home!!
Living in collinwood has been ok. Alot of history in the area. Plenty of different foods around from Italian to jamaican. The crime is not that bad be could be better. The roads and pot holes need fixed also.
