There has been some robbery in the laundry mate near me , but thankfully there is more security guards protecting the area 24/7.
I live close to many grocery stores , the weather is great here .I enjoy the sunshine in my face everyday .I would live here again anytime. I would rate this area a 7/10 .
Law Enforcement isn't visible, but fire and emergency response services are very responsive.
I feel very safe, there are very few regular crimes.
Great overall experience in San Diego for anyone.
There aren't many crimes committed in this area. A few months ago there was a homicide about two miles away, however that was a very upscale event for this area. Most police activity here is centered around the back entrance to the high school due to the large intersection and heavy pedestrian traffic.
It's very quiet compared to some other parts of the city. I moved to this area from a more coastal area and there were always sirens going off, so it's nice to be able to sit outside in peace. In addition, there are several elementary schools nearby, two middle schools, and the main public high school.
We love our neighborhood! Our neighbors were friendly when we first moved in and are friendly now. We are close to a community college so there is a lot of young people who park on our street. It is great to see them focusing on their education and paying attention to the parking requirements. Many residents walk their dogs daily and we also have a great walking track.
Most of the houses are pretty nice, as they are pretty expensive; yet some are a bit run down and beat up.
People are friendly when you talk to them, but don't really go out of their way to make you comfortable, etc.
There have never really been many incidents of crimes or the likelihood of them happening. I've felt very safe here and never have to worry about getting caught up in a crime or something of the sorts.
There is not a lot of criminal activity in the area. In the instances where crime does occur, the police force is very prompt and responsive.
I love the city in which I live, although the weather is sometimes too warm for me. I love the Southern California vibe because it is laid-back and the people are very nice! Although the public transportation is not the best, having your own car is very common and therefore easy to get around if you have your own vehicle. I live approximately 20 minutes away from the beach, so I visit the ocean frequently. San Diego is a large, busy city, but has a comforting feel to it and is pleasant for visitors and natives alike.
Our apartment complex just put better street lighting for the residents that live there. Which I think is great now that we have lighting to be able to see our surroundings.
This community is extremely safe. Police are present and quick to respond. While roadside maintenance could be improved, the neighborhood is well kept and clean.
