It's a pretty walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops and handy stores. It's not overdeveloped, and seems dedicated to remaining that way. It is also very beautiful, full of natural spaces.

I love this area of town. It's close to the city but with the feel of a small town. Everything you need is in walking distance - coffee, yoga, bars, restaurants, and co-op (grocery store).
I love living in Multnomah. I grew up here and have seen it grow and become the fantastic neighborhood it is today. The only downside is that housing is expensive and a full time job is required for even small apartments.
