I can get downtown in 15 minutes, can walk/bike to several different parks, hardware stores, grocery stores, and can get to the lunken trails straight from my house on my bike! I never even have to drive between the walkability and access to public transportation. Ive not yet once felt unsafe after having lived here for 2 years and would strongly recommend the neighborhood. Our neighborhood is full of small brick 50s ranches on a quiet street like so many charming streets here in mt washington. I love it so much and am constantly raving about this place to friends and family.
Really awesome up and coming area, especially for young professionals. Has good night life, nice access to parks, it’s fun and friendly. There is a good sense of community here as well!
I've lived here for almost 4 years. It's been a "meh" experience. While I realize the experience has been influenced by my work/life balance and lack of family, all in all, it's an ok place to start.
