Morrell Park Reviews
Great blue collar neighborhood, been here since 2009 and I love it. Great family atmosphere. Dont get me wrong theres is 1 or 2 bad houses on every block but thats row home life in Philadelphia. I'm a Police officer here in Philadelphia and its very safe in Morrell Park. Besides a car break in once in awhile its very quiet. My son loved Hancock elementary and labrum middle school. The highschool is not great so I would recommend Charter or Catholic school for after 8th grade.
I like the area that I live. The people in the area are mostly older, but newer generations are coming in. Thus there is a fairly decent balance of age and ethnicity. There are plenty of nearby elementary, middle, and high schools that have a good reputation. It's a pretty peaceful area with little crime or disturbance. Everything including highways and the city is not too close and not too far. If I could do it all over I would return here. There is no place better in the U.S that I currently know of that is better that where I am currently staying.
There are a lot of drugs in this area. Also kids are rambunctious.
