In Morningside/Lenox park everyone is very friendly. It is great for families, very walk-able, and busy! Throughout the neighborhood, there are kids running around, and everyone is very friendly!
Pros:
• Homes are diverse and generally pretty “cool”
• Super close to the heart of the city
• Dense treescape/very pretty
• Neighbors tend to be extremely friendly
• Wonderful restaurants/bars
Cons:
• Roads are a bit cruddy and need to be repaved
• “City parks” in the neighborhood are not taken care of — neighbors have to spend their own time/money landscaping public parks(at least it seems this way)
• Too many car break-ins due to many people parking on the street
Overall, an AMAZING neighborhood. If something could be done about the car break-ins, this would definitey be the coolest neighborhood in Atlanta.

I absolutely love living in Morningside because there is a diversity of age culture and race. Being a neighborhood that is walkable was one of our criteria for purchasing here and with the new bike lanes, it's also safer to ride our bikes to the Beltline. The neighborhood restaurants are so welcoming and it's great seeing our neighbors eating outside as well as walking to the restaurants.
