I would not live in the neighborhood again but will definitely live in the city. There is always something to do of interest and plenty of opportunities to succeed in business. Specific parts of town are more diverse than others. The arts are profound and engaging and professionals sports bring life to the communities. Transportation is improving but gridlock is certainly on its way more often than not. Plenty of parks on every side of town and also love that there are lots of churches to choose from. Need to do more to relieve homelessness but where is it obsolete?
I do not view any area as completely same. Overall, crime has increase to various areas and even gangs are creeping into others. I think the police are working ot improve the safety in the community and to build better community relations.
I live in the "hispanic neighborohood" so I know people who avoid the area. I think there is a bad rap because some businesses have bars on the windows, and the local Food Lion has locks on the cart wheels from people taking them home so often. I enjoy where I live, but It would be nice to have a better variety of stores and businesses.
