Really great place to live!
Super convenient - walking distance to UCSF medical center (top 5 in the US, #1 in CA), Caltrain, AT&T park, future Warriors stadium, Lyft and Dropbox HQ, children and dog parks, etc. Great weather - probably the sunniest part of SF and right next to the Bay.
It's expensive, but everything here is brand new... So you get what you pay for!

The Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco is a beautiful neighborhood with parks (for people and dogs), plenty of grocery stores and restaurants, and filled with entertainment. It is an extremely family friendly neighborhood. where children are free to walk down the street, people walk their dogs at all hours of the day, and there are healthy grocery stores within walking distance. The neighborhood often has holiday community events, such as occasional movie nights in the park, Easter egg hunts for kids, and Halloween costume parties. Over all, the Mission Bay neighborhood is very safe, and if you are considering moving into this neighborhood, I highly recommend it.
Not that good for college student, better off in cheap state like Oklahoma or sum as the stuff here are ridiculous.
