I have just moved in to Mira Mesa in San Diego from Chicago, IL on last April. Living here for at least 4 months have an enjoyable experience. The people are friendly, courteous and easy going. The community is also very diverse as I have seen and met people from different backgrounds. The stores are also very accessible. There are many stores in the neighborhood. Also, Miramar College and Mesa College are around the corner. I suggest having a better bus transportation in this area though. Although many people drive cars, a very reliable and accessible bus transit would be very helpful. Also, I cannot help but compare the grocery prices in the stores I have been in. It would be lovely to have cheaper cost as it would be very difficult since it is California. Over all, I am very thankful to live in Mira Mesa and be a part of this productive, safe and warm community.
Review Mira Mesa
Mira Mesa has a lot of markets and restaurants of many cultures. There is countless way to go out and enjoy yourself with family and friends. If you are vegan, there is a delightful place called Loving Hut that serve extraordinarily good vegan food. If you are into kebabs, there is The Kebab Shop that offers mouth watering Döner kebabs and the best golden french fries. Korean food, go to Tofu House. Hot pot, go to Tasty Pot. Sea food, go to The Boiling Crab. Mira Mesa is a true definition of the American "melting pot" culture.
The roads could be better, and the houses arent very well kept up, but the people are nice and very diverse. Also, the shopping center is great and everything is within walking distance!
