Mira Mesa Reviews
Review Mira Mesa
I have lived in Mira Mesa for 4 years. I moved to Mira Mesa from Tucson, Arizona . Mira Mesa is near San Diego. It is bordered by Interstate 15, Interstate 805 on the Los Penasquitos Canyon, and the Marine Corps Air Station Mira Mar. Mira Mesa is disproportionately large young professionals. There is a healthy ethnic mix here. Mira Mesa is basically a home owners market. Property values are high and still on the rise. The median income is about $65,000 per year, and the cost of living is high. On the other hand, the weather is great, the schools are good, the housing market is stable, the crime rate is low, and amenities such as grocery stores, shopping outlets and parks are plentiful. There is a broad array of ethnic restaurants, as well as traditional dining facilities. Mira Mesa has eight community parks, centers for teenagers and senior citizens, an ice skating rink, and a multi-plex movie theater. .
The area in which I live has every store that I could ever need. If I need to run errands and get groceries, there are many grocery stores around. There are also stores like Target and Walmart where you can buy many items. There are many malls around and if you want to avoid the crowd at the mall, there are retail stores like Tilly's or Bath and Body close by. The food selection is endless. There is a Starbucks around almost every corner!
It's right in the middle of everything driving wise, it's a great place to raise a family with a diverse cultural community, and the biotech and pharmaceutical industries in Sorrento valley are booming.
