San Antonio is relatively a safe area to live. We have a wide array of local law enforcement always active throughout the city, and responses to calls usually fall under 5 minutes.

San Antonio is a city with many resources available. Despite minor drawbacks in certain unkempt areas, it is a highly cultured city that offers residents and visitors a unique place to live. With proper local leadership, San Antonio can be better. I am proud to live here, and hope to move back when I complete college.
Mom and pop shops in comparison to big companies are both very sporadic in the sense that this is Texas we aren't like major city's where everything is close together so you either need to have a lot of money to buy a space or know someone. There is a lot of room to grow and many of the smaller mom and pop shops are expanding, not saying that big companies aren't present because they still are very prevalent. With that in mind everything is within a ten minute drive which like I said before this is Texas and a ten minute drive is not bad at all.
