I have lived here for a year and have nothing but love for my experience. Walking distance to tons of venues, events, and eclectic spots. A young growing community with the amentites of a city and the scale of a town where you can see beautiful sunsets and walk to any ethnicity of food you may crave. Thriving social scene and regular events to keep active, social, and engaged. Housing cost is going steadily up, but so is quality of living.

The Midtown area is right next to nightlife, but far enough where the residential areas can't hear the screams of wasted chicks. It's usually five degrees cooler than other parts of Sacramento because of all the trees, and shady areas. There are lots of restaurants, little shops, and little events going on all through the year that anyone could enjoy.
Tons of locally owned shops and restaurants across the grid in downtown/midtown. Lots of emphasis on Farm-to-Fork, restaurants serving specifically locally grown meat and produce. Biker friendly and easy to walk places, also taxis, Uber, and

Lyft if needed. Plenty of Starbucks as well as a large variety of local coffee shops. Safeway, Grocery Outlet, Food Co-op, Target, and other larger companies are also in the area. Bike trials along the American River, large music, theatre, and art scene, as well as the California State Capitol, there's so much to do!
