I haven't been here long, but I like this neighborhood. I find it interesting and nice because this neighborhood is quiet.
I enjoy the community, landmarks, and public establishments. Commuting is easy and everybody is nice.
Middle Village, located in Queens New York City is a nice area to live in. It is quiet and close to shopping centers and grocery stores.
I’ve been here all 17 years of my life, and there is no where else I would rather live. The people are so kind, supportive, and so very passionate. I’ve connected with many neighbors on various different levels, neighbors of all ages. This is a community where you can truly be yourself, where you can count on one another. The parks and school systems here are like no other. Although there have been disagreements and hardships within the community, this community stays strong and works through it together.
I was born here in Middle Village, raised here in Middle Village, and now as a young adult, still here in Middle Village! It is a nice, quiet, multi-cultural, family oriented neighborhood. We have tree lined blocks and no alternate side parking rules and/or cleaning and yet everyone keeps the area clean! We have a gorgeous park (Juniper Valley Park) with acres of land for all sports, exercise, child's play, and even a dog park! There are deli's, supermarkets, laundrymats, CVS, 7Eleven, Bagel shops, etc. All in walking distance. The area is safe as well.
I love the tranquility I feel in the neighborhood. The only thing I wish would happen would be, that house prices were more affordable.
Middle Village is a great neighborhood. It is very family oriented. There are great schools in the area. Juniper Valley Park is a great place for families. The neighborhood is very safe. It is a clean neighborhood. However, Middle Village is not very diverse at all. It is very quite during the night time and not very busy at all. Overall it is a great quite and safe neighborhood which is very family friendly.
Middle Village is a great, friendly neighborhood. I think it is a great place for children to grow up in as the public grammar schools around here are all very good. Friendly people and plenty of things to do. Juniper Valley Park is beautiful and a great asset of Middle Village! Great neighborhood in Queens and I would could not imagine having grown up anyplace else!
My family moved to middle village four years ago. It's a nice neighborhood if you're looking for a more suburbs-y vibe, but it's really hard to commute to if you don't have a car and there isn't much around.
Middle Village is quiet, barely any noise complaints. The people there are friendly. The neighborhood is surrounded by parks and restaurants so it’s a good location.
Middle Village is a community of professionals, from public service (police, fire, teachers) to higher end work force (banking/finance). Nice houses, great schools and churches and a subway that will get you to downtown Manhattan in 20-25 minutes.
What I like most is that the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Another thing I like is that there all shopping malls close by like Atlas Mall and Queens Center Mall. One thing that I dont like is that transportation to get to brooklyn isn't very convenient.
The main thing that I appreciate about Middle Village is the sense of comfort/safety that is felt in the neighborhood. It isn't the most unified or close-knit community, but the people are nice enough to maintain a pleasant environment. I am very content with the community and my place in it, which is all I can ask for in a home. In terms of changes. there aren't any that immediately come to my mind. I don't think that any substantial changes need to be made in the area in order to improve it. If anything, only very minor changes are necessary down the line in order to ensure that the community keeps functioning as efficiently/pleasantly as possible.
Great school districts with mostly good people and easy access to Manhattan and Brooklyn. Very safe with great places to eat
Great area to live if you like suburban and still want to be in the city. It is super clean, green, friendly. It is mostly for families but it is changing to a more diverse age group since many younger people are moving in.
Middle Village is a super safe neighborhood. A tight-knit community. Wish there were more restaurant, food options in the area though. Been living here for more than 5 years now.
Beware of racist white folks. Our neighbor hit my car right infront of me and acted as of nothing happened. When I asked them if they saw my car, they started raising their voice at me, the old guy had his chest close to me and kept pointing his finger at me until my husband intervened. Half of the time I could not understand what they were saying they were european. Their daughter intervened asked her parents to leave. I thought she was nice enough to hear me out but just made a racist comment that she worked with our race before and she knew we were rude. All this time I just wanted a sorry since they hit my car. They apologized unwillingly and made very rude remarks. I am not generalizing that everyone is racist, I had some interaction with very kind neighbors. Beware of those few who lives in 68th road.
